Rena's review: Drunk Elephant Slaai Cleansing Balm

If you have been following me for a while, you know that I have been a big fan of Drunk Elephant. At the moment, most of my skincare is dominated by their products with a few Korean products.

I was searching for a new makeup remover and decided to try Drunk Elephant Slaai Cleansing Balm.

Packaging: The magnetic spatula is genius. There is just no way to lose it meaning you wonโ€™t ever need to dip your finger in the balm.

Texture: Not too solid, but soft enough. Like butter.

Fragrance: I canโ€™t detect any fragrance.

Performance: As soon as you massage a small dollop on your skin, I can just feel my makeup melt away including waterproof eye makeup. I love that I can massage this over my eyes and there is zero oily residue.

Bonus: A little tube of Bamboo Booster, charcoal and bamboo powder that you can mix in for a gentle scrub.

I follow up with my Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser. Another recommended makeup balm is the Farmacy Green Clean Cleansing Balm, the texture is a bit fluffier like soufflรฉ but the magnetic spatula on Slaai definitely won me over.
