2015 beauty favorites

I am a beauty junkie, but I am quite reasonable with my purchases in terms of not jumping into any beauty trends or buying latest releases.

The way I shop with beauty products is first and foremost identifying my needs - if my skin is changing, my current makeup does not perform anymore or just to satisfy my curiosity. There are times that a girl cannot help it... so that is when I would spend on with the limited edition beauty products. Here are products that are released this year that I absolutely love and happy with (please note that some products may have been released end of last year, but in Australia release dates could be well into this year)

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless foundation - Lightweight, full coverage, has a satin finish and get his, NO SPF!!! (foundations with SFP may flashback in photos)

IT Cosmetics CC Cream - Super blendable, hydrating, high coverage but dewy at the same time.

Tom Ford Spice - This has been mentioned again and again, it is has a light moussey texture and the most beautiful shade of bronze.

Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in Rouge Noir (limited edition) - My favourite nail polish shade reinvented in a shimmery cream shadow. Dreams do come true.

Glossier Balm Dotcom - Lightweight, non greasy and very moisturising. Easy to travel with, and I do not leave the house without this.

Sephora lip cream - My current lipsticks do not seem to stay put and I am the kind of girl that wears red lipstick to dinner. I tried this and it stays put, but it can be quite drying so lots of Balm dot com prior will do.

Laura Mercier Lip Parfait* - Possibly the best lipstick for dry lips, the colour is pigmented and super easy to apply. I love the shade Cinnful. This is my dessert island lipstick.

Dyptique Florabellio - Really unique, it smells like fresh sea salts with a hint of fruitiness, I thought I wouldn't like it but it grew on me. Perfect for balmy days.

Chanel Le Vernis in Coquelicot (limited edition) - I promised myself to not buy nail polishes this year but I can't help it when this colour is the perfect orangey red.

Aesop Protective Body Lotion in SPF50 - lightweight, moisturising, non-greasy and smells incredible!
