How I Pack My Makeup and Skincare For Travel

I am going on a two weeks trip to Europe. Other than the destination, the best part about the trip is the process of making a list, editing, organizing and packing my beauty products (how sad, I know).

Over the years, I’ve put quite a few of travel cases or pouches to the test over the years. Depending on the length of the trip I have a few different options .

Today I am sharing my favorites plus some tips.

Skincare

I love Muji’s Nylon Makeup bags, I have them in 2 sizes but I find the medium size works best for 1-2 weeks trip. I add the PP organizer into the bag to hold all my mini skincare so they don’t move around too much.

As for travel sized skincare, of course I can’t never leave without Drunk Elephant The Littles. I love the fuss free packaging, nothing too bulky. I also love Origin masks, they do mini sized sets all the time. Whenever I shop at Aesop, I always ask for some complimentary samples and they are just great for a long haul flights. Sheet masks are also so easy as a one off use when hopping to one hotel to another. My current favorites are from Peach & Lily.

Makeup

I love the Truffle Jet Set bags and I have them in the regular size and large. I highly recommend the large version because it has two sides and large enough to fit makeup brushes. Other than being sturdy, and these transparent bags are for me to locate products. I am messy when I do my makeup so owning a leather or opaque makeup bag will not work for me. The Truffle bags are just easy to be wiped down.

I am always shopping for travel sized makeup items, Sephora has a whole category of mini or travel sizes. My favorite new discovery is this genius Beauty Blender silicone case.
